We wanted to let you all know that beginning in November, 2 Good Health will be hosting an 8-week Holiday weight loss challenge that we’d like to encourage each of you to participate in. I know, I know…you’re probably thinking that we’ve lost our minds, right? You’re probably thinking something like “ARE THEY CRAZY? Who has an end of year weight loss challenge?” Well, we do, of course :-)! Before you throw your computer or device against a wall, here us out? Did you know that the holidays are the number one culprit when it comes to women gaining weight that they’re never able to lose. Studies have shown that weight that is gained during this time of the year will likely NOT be able to be lost during the following year. This leads to what we call “Creeping Obesity”…the tendency to gain weight gradually over time, eventually leading to obesity. If you’re one of those women who gains up to 5 lbs during the holidays each year, then this could be a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for you to finally reverse this trend.
